With Love From Marc: Handbags

Marc Jacobs is giving us the gift of beautiful, bright handbags this season. As you guys probably already know (and if you don't you should) that color is the key this Spring and Summer. Now I know some of you wenches like your bags bright as the sun WITH a bunch of chains, LED strobe lights, and frilly junk on your bags, that isn't what you want to go for, you want the color of your handbag to be the statement itself not the other crap on it.Keep it simple and sleek, I swear if I catch any of you with an Ed Hardy bag I will arrest you myself. Bag Trends For Spring 2011

This spring we're downsizing handbags into petite  totes and clutches. I know girls(and guys) that this can be a pain but you know pain is beauty! Plus with a smaller bag you are forced to carry only what you need and everything is so much more easily accessible with a smaller bag.  Cheer up my friends,  I have found some amazing bags for every occasion that will have you looking fabulous. Here some of the trends seen on the runway. 

 White Colors

This season designers utitilized every type of white (yes white has hues and tonals) possible on the runway and in the retail word is no different. I personally am not a fan of white bags, but with the right outfit it can really become a beautiful, clean, compliment to your outfit. 

Tassels 

With fashion shifting to a more 60s and 70s feel of course comes a more earthy bohemian vibe to accessories. Tassels are the big thing now in bags, from your every day bag to a more chic night look, these little beauties are making a comeback. 

Stuctured

One of my favorite bags are a nice structured bag. You can carry them to any occasion and season for a steamline, sexy, vintage look. 

Clutches

I have spoken about clutches before here but just in case you missed it, clutches are the main focus in bags this season! These sexy little numbers are a staple in a fashionistas wardrobe.
