Color blocking and played on volume is the main standouts for Giambattista Valli's collection for Fall 2011. Yellows, pinks and oranges vibrated against each other and the mostly gray and black color palette. Valli shows us his mastery in draping with perfectly fit pants, large ruffled dresses, and soft flutes. Some of his most eye catching looks for me were his looks where he explored with different fabric textures, color blocking with furs, and mixing furs with sheer fabrics and beading. Overall Valli's fall collection was beautifully detailed and carefully put together for a stunning collection.
