The use of textures on the runway was a main stay for Spring 2011. They were noted on everything from shoes to even some of the models hair. Of course on the runway it is presented at a more extreme for the show but you can incorporate and create textures in your every day clothes easily. The use of pleats and gathers on printed fabrics is a great look that created lots of depth in your textures. Roping and lace are wonderful accents to outfits. Either way you put it you can't really go wrong with putting a little texture in your wardrobe. Here are some of my favorite uses of texture on the runway for Spring 2011.
