London Fashion Week Was A Royal Affair

Maybe it is the buzz around the upcoming nuptials between Prince William and Kate Middleton that has designers giving their garments the royal treatment but London Fashion Week as been filled with regal inspired garments. Many designers pulled design inspirations from royal families of the 1600s to having a new take on soon to be princess Kate Middleton's famous blue wrap dress (see above).

London Fashion week which kicked off February 18th and ended February 23rd had a variety of different design inspirations but one that stood out above the rest were all the regal inspired garments. One that really brought out the royals was Meadham Kirchhoff who channeled the The Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland.  London did not disappoint with all of its beautifully detailed garments. Hats were also a noticeable stand out in London, from the chic, delicate hats of Holly Fulton to the outrageously bright and whimsical balloon hats of Louise Gray.
