And The Show Goes On For Dior Fall 2011

Despite the recent dismissal of long time creative director John Galliano, Dior went full steam ahead with its Fall 2011 Ready to wear collection. Bringing in a dark almost dreamy feel to the collection, Dior started the show with heavy layerings of  rich,  dark, color blocked fabrics. Long over coats and thigh high boots highlighted this sexy femme fatale story. As the show went on Dior shifted from  its dark and mysterious look to a pretty, soft, fairy like story with its delicate pastels and flowing fabrics. Almost straight out of a fairytale, Dior ushered in a collection of darkness and innocence and like most fairytale's it ended with good prevailing. The End.
