In Case You Missed it: Libertine
Don't call it a comeback they've been here for years apparently and I almost feel like I missed the bus to something really awesome. Libertine has been around since 2001 and this was their first showing during New York Fashion week in about 2 years and boy what a show it was. I am viewing this collection with a complete clean slate, I know very little of their past and I didn't research it on purpose so I could give an honest opinion on their current collection.

The clothing itself was a combination of classic vintage like clothing and modern sportswear. The only negative I have to say is that I wasn't that much of a fan of the meanswear they presented. It basically consisted of what kind of looked like cool workout clothes and unfinished suits but the womens wear presentation made up for that completely. Libertine kept in trend with creating volume in different ways into the womens garments, whether it be from a loose fitting top or large puffed sleeves, Libertine created a cool femininity. Even the small key items made a big difference in this collection for instance the cross hatching print in the gloves and leggings only added to the vibrant feel of this collection. If there is one thing to be said about Libertine's collection is that it was alive and that my friends is what fashion is about.
Yes this my attempt at being fancy. If you like the old format better let me know and try not to swear at me.
