Paris is ushering in a new color of sexy. Instead of going for rich, dark hues of oranges, blues, and purples, parisian designers so far have brought in collections in almost one color. This may seem like a boring shift from other fashion week designers but the use of monochromatic colors in a collection is a lesson in control. The focus is on the complexity and precision of the garments and less about fabrics and color choices. Paris is really showing the fashion industry why they are the originators of couture.
